Wisuda Alumni is an annual activity carried out by SAFEL and becomes the Public Relation Department work program to maintain the relationship between SAFEL’s current period crew and alumni. The Wisuda Alumni program is carried out for one management period four times by following the graduation schedule on the UNY’s academic calendar. The first graduation was held on 27 February 2021, the second was on 26 June 2021, the third was on 28 August 2021, and the fourth was on 27 November 2021. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the graduation was carried out online.
The Wisuda Alumni activity begins with the stage of making the form of a collection of graduation greetings video a few days before the UNY graduation, contacting alumni who will be graduating in that period, and continuing with giving the graduation greetings video as a gift to alumni through the Instagram platform. The activity was joined by the crew and MPO of the UKM Bahasa Asing “SAFEL” UNY.
The success of this activity can be seen from the giving of gifts for alumni who are graduated in four graduation periods from all Safel’s alumni where the implementation is following the UNY’s academic calendar for even-odd semesters. Then, this activity has succeeded in enlivening the graduation ceremony and appreciating the Safel’s alumni who have contributed to the UKM Bahasa Asing “SAFEL” UNY.
