Aloha I Nā Mea A Pau!
Hello everyone!
It has been an anual event that SAFEL holds a Culture Festival as our aim is to share cross-cultural understanding for people in Yogyakarta. In this event we invite native speakers from 7 different countries: United States, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, China, and Egypt. We’ll provide country boots as places to get to know the cultures with the native speakers. Also, there will be so many performances in a day from modern dance to band performances.
This year’s theme is “Ohana” which originally means from Hawaiian creole “Family”. We try to bring the value of togatherness in the family into the warm of the festival. This theme will as well become the discussion in the talkshow with all native speakers. Talking about festival among these countries is gonna be a fun time!!
This is a MUST EVENT TO ATTEND! Especially for you who like to learn new cultures from other countries. There are about two weeks to go, so, grab your ticket soon before it gets sold-out.
