TOEFL Preparation and Test is a work program organized by the FOLT (Foreign Language Training) Department under the management of UKM Bahasa Asing “SAFEL”. The purpose of this program is to support participants, especially Yogyakarta State University students and public, to be able to predict their TOEFL score and improve their English skill through the TOEFL test. TOEFL Preparation and test is also organized to help participants who need TOEFL scores or certificates for certain purposes. This program is in collaboration with a trusted institution that usually organizes TOEFL tests.
This year, TOEFL Preparation and Test takes the theme “Echoes of Tomorrow : Take Action Today with the Future in Mind”. It is hoped that all participants who take part in this program will remind everyone that every word you learn today shapes the person you will become tomorrow. Preparing for TOEFL is not just about passing a test, it’s about building the future you dream of. May every effort you make today echo in the opportunities that await you ahead. The TOEFL Preparation and Test 2025 is being held in collaboration with an English Language institution called YEC. YEC is an official course and training institution registered with the Ministry of Education and Culture. YEC specializes in education and administering tests such as TOEFL and IELTS, job training, and English language learning for everyday needs. TOEFL Preparation and Test registration is divided into two batches : Early bird on May 7 – 10 and Night owl on May 11 – 25. The day of the event was held on May 24, 2025 in the Zoom Meeting.
The TOEFL Preparation and Test activity was divided into two sessions : seminar and TOEFL test. The seminar session was presented by Miss Dhea, a speaker from YEC. The seminar contained a brief explanation of what the TOEFL test is, tips and tricks for taking the TOEFL test and also Q & A session, which was guided by YEC. The participants will get a TOEFL score directly after they did the TOEFL test and also the sertificate then those who achieve the highest TOEFL prediction score will receive a reward in the form of cash and vouchers from the YEC institution itself.
Luckily, this TOEFL Preparation and Test event has been completed well. Hopefully, this event will be helpful for all participants. I would like to thank all the committee, the speaker, the institution and all people who participated in TOEFL Preparation and Test.
