]Monbukagakusho Scholarship (文部科学省奨学金MonbukagakushōShōgakukin?) (Formerly known as Monbusho Scholarship) is a scholarship offered by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbukagakushō).
Regarding some reasons mentioned above, it is need to give orientation towards the scholarships hunter as what the Scholarship Management Institutions want to achieve. The intended socialization is an answer of the question “What should the scholarship hunters do to get a related scholarship?”.
Therefore, the FOLT department holds a scholarship seminar study aboard. The seminar aims to help students and other scholarship hunters find information about LPDP, Erasmus, and Monbukagakusho scholarship. This seminar is different from other seminars in general. Carrying the concept of talk show makes the event feel more informal and relax. This year, we invite three speakers and they presented three different scholarships. The first speaker is Atrida who is fully funded by Monbukagakusho scholarship to continue her study in Kyoto, Japan. The second speaker is Kidung from LPDP scholarship who continue his study in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. The last speaker is Haris from Erasmus scholarship who continue his study in Valencia, Spain and Coimbra, Portugal. The speakers present about the scholarships, the steps for applying the scholarships, the requirements are needed to achieve the scholarships, tips how to apply scholarships to study aboard. Also the speakers share their experience when they applied the scholarships and their experience during their study aboard.
The event goes well and the participants seem enthusiastic with the questions that have been asked by other participant. Hopefully, with this scholarship seminar study aboard, it can provide benefits for the participants who intend to continue their education through the three of the scholarships above. For those who have not participated in this seminar, your participation in the next year event is awaited.
