Welcoming guests with an open hand warmly is a good thing in many culture. We never know what they will bring us. They may bring good things or bad things, but nevertheless we need to welcome those who want to pay us a visit as they have thought about us. This also applies to organizations. When you’re in an organization, welcoming other organization’s to visit us is important. That way, we can learn many things from each other that will help us to improve.
This year’s second guest comes from Student English Forum Universitas Sebelas Maret. We were overjoyed when we received their message regarding their plan on visiting us. We had discussions and it was decided that we will meet on November 23rd 2019 on UNY’s Student Centre.
On the D-Day, we were a little surprise on how their committee structure is quite different compared to us. Then moving on to the main agenda is where both organizations presented themselves to each other, that way both of us can learn things about each other.
After learning, there must be questions that are wanting to be asked. Therefore a Forum Group Discussion was held in order to satisfy the learning spirit from both organizations.
All that begins must have an ending that follows them. In the end of the event, both SAFEL UNY and SEF UNS gave each other some memento in order for both of them to remember the memorable day that they spent together.
