Anyeonghaseo, everyone… ODIA which stands for One Day in Action is an annual program held by the Public Speaking Department aims to introduce the SAFEL’s members and crews about public speaking especially for MC-ing. We’ve presented an expert in MC-ing as our speaker.
This year, ODIA held on February 22, 2020, at 3rd Floor Student Center, UNY. We had Firman Putra as our speaker. Around 23 people came to the event. They were from crews and members of SAFEL. They were active during the event.
Firman Putra is a presenter and an emcee for some formal and informal events. He told us about the theory such as basic concepts, attitude and even the techniques to be a good MC. He also gave us practices about MC-ing, especially for formal and semiformal events.
It was so good for having Mas Firman for our speaker. And I’m so glad that the participants were really active, and responsive. We’re as a committee have already given our best, though there are a lot of things to be fixed and improved. Thank you, see you next year! (Lalak)
