Networking is a program organized by the Public Relations (PR) Department of SAFEL as an effort to expand and maintain relationships with various organizations that share similar visions and backgrounds. In this implementation, SAFEL had the opportunity to collaborate with the Economics English Conversation Club (EECC) from Diponegoro University on November 2, 2025. Carrying the theme “Timeless Talks, Boundless Bonds: Unity in Diversity,” this activity was grounded in the belief that SAFEL and EECC can build connections across various aspects without being limited by time.

The event took place at Yogyakarta State University, specifically in the Language Service Unit Building, 1st floor. The EECC team arrived at UNY at around 07.00 WIB. The event began with the singing of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, as a form of respect and the official opening of the program. This was followed by welcoming remarks from the two committee chairs, Kevin from EECC and Shari from SAFEL. The agenda then continued with presentations from both EECC and SAFEL, delivering information regarding membership, organizational structures, work programs, and other related activities. Interestingly, many similarities were found between SAFEL and EECC, both in work programs and organizational arrangements, which boosted the participants’ enthusiasm.

After the presentation session, the event proceeded with a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) where participants from both organizations were divided into five groups based on their respective departments. Through this session, SAFEL and EECC discovered even more similarities, further strengthening the relationship between the two organizations. Following the FGD, the event continued with an ice-breaking session featuring a song-guessing game that created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. The event concluded with message sharing, documentation sessions, and the official closing.

SAFEL extends its deepest appreciation to EECC Diponegoro University for their warm and pleasant visit. We hope the collaboration and good relations that have been established will continue to grow in the future. I, Noviana, as the Person in Command (PIC) of Networking, would also like to express my gratitude to Promis_10, Risda, Karina, Eko, Icak, Yasmin, Ella, Nisa, and Dani for their dedication and hard work.

Thank you so much for being part of this networking event!
