Networking is a program organized by the Public Relations (PR) departement of SAFEL. This program aims to broaden and maintain the ties between SAFEL and various organizations that have shared objectives and backgrounds with SAFEL. This time we collaborated with the Communicative English Club (CEC) from Salatiga State Islamic University on April 26, 2025, with the theme “Empowering Organizations Through Innovation: Enhancing Skills and Expanding Opportunities.” The idea behind this theme is that we believe through this program, SAFEL and CEC can knit together in every aspect to enhance skills and expand opportunities.
The event took place at Yogyakarta State University, Student Center Building 3rd Floor. The CEC team convoyed to UNY at around 09.20 WIB. The Indonesia Raya song was sung to open the event. After that, remarks from the two committee chairmen, Arya from CEC and Sari from SAFEL, followed by the handover of souvenirs from SAFEL and CEC. On this occasion, we also invited CEC members to take a tour of the student center and SAFEL secretariat.
The event did not stop there. After a break, the event continued with an ice breaking session in the form of games that made the atmosphere more fun. The presidents then gave an overview of the members, structure, programs, and others. Unexpectedly, there are many similarities between SAFEL and CEC, both from work programs and structures that make the participants even more enthusiastic. After the presentation, the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) began. SAFEL and CEC were divided into six groups based on the departments they belong to. In this session, SAFEL and CEC found many similarities that made us become closer to each other. After the FGD, a message and documentation session marked the end of the event.
SAFEL would like to thank CEC UIN Salatiga from the bottom of our hearts for a very pleasant visit. We hope that the relationship that has been established can continue to be good.
