Community Visit is a program by the Public Relation Department of UKM SAFEL UNY which facilitates other organizations or institutions to connect with SAFEL. This event aims to increase SAFEL’s relations and staff insight related to collaboration with other organizations. This year, Community Visit was held twice where on the first event, we had accepted a visitation from UKM PSM SW UNY. The event was held on October 23rd, 2021 through Zoom Meeting due to the pandemic situation that is still ongoing. Community visit was attended by both the staff of SAFEL UNY and the staff of PSM SW UNY.
Through Community Visit, we gained a lot of benefits and new insight by sharing our experiences and struggles. First, there was a presentation by SAFEL UNY about each department in SAFEL UNY. This session aims to introduce the departments of SAFEL and their programs. There was also a presentation by PSM SW UNY about their departments and programs. This way, we can get to know each other and our programs better.
Each presentation session was then followed by a Question and Answer session. Every participant is free to ask what they want to know about the other organization. We discussed each other’s programs in greater detail and shared our struggles during the pandemic. Both participants from PSM SW UNY and SAFEL UNY were very enthusiastic in asking questions.
