In any organization, close relationships among its management are crucial. An organization cannot function effectively without good communication among its leaders. Hence, there is a need for a working program to strengthen the relationships among the management to ensure smooth operations.
Driven by these reasons, the Public Relation department of SAFEL holds an annual event called “Anjangsana” intending to foster strong bonds among the advisors, management, and alumni of SAFEL. This year, Anjangsana adopts the theme “Yesterday’s Bonds, Tomorrow’s Horizons.” This theme signifies the importance of maintaining connections with alumni while also looking towards future horizons. It goes beyond mere nostalgia; it’s about envisioning the future alongside SAFEL alumni, building a hopeful future by inheriting the values and camaraderie that have been established since its inception.
On Sunday, March 24, 2024, Anjangsana unfolded its festivities within the vibrant ambiance of the third-floor hall of UNY’s Student Center. The event commenced with a lively opening by the Master of Ceremonies, heralding a series of engaging activities that ensued throughout the day. Heartfelt greetings and speeches from the president of SAFEL and the event chairperson infused the gathering with warmth and camaraderie, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.
This year’s Anjangsana features a talk show session with one of SAFEL’s highly inspiring alumni, Faiz Ilham Pratama, M.Pd. Faiz’s journey serves as a beacon of inspiration for current members, showcasing the potential paths they can take post-graduation and the impact they can have after joining SAFEL. Through this session, participants gain insights, wisdom, and motivation to navigate their journeys, fueling their aspirations for the future.
The event’s intimacy was enhanced by a focus group discussion (FGD) that included alumni. Additionally, an exciting door prize session with appealing rewards heightened the celebratory atmosphere. The event concluded with a captivating performance by SAFELITE, followed by a communal breaking of fast and enjoyment of a delightful feast by all attendees.
The Anjangsana event serves as a platform not only for reconnecting but also for learning and growth. It’s a testament to SAFEL’s commitment to nurturing its community and ensuring its legacy continues to thrive.
