Anjangsana is an annual work program conducted by the Public Relations department aimed at strengthening the bonds of friendship among SAFEL’s crews, alumni, and advisors. This program serves as a platform for SAFEL’s crews and alumni to come together, fostering mutual sharing and providing opportunities for reunions. By organizing this gathering, SAFEL seeks to create an atmosphere of camaraderie and facilitate connections among its members, enabling them to reconnect, exchange experiences, and cherish fond memories.

After being held online for several years, Anjangsana is now able to take place in person this year. Anjangsana 2023 adopts the theme “Celebrating Our Past, Embracing Our Future!” as a way to commemorate cherished memories and acknowledge the valuable contributions made by the alumni. Through this celebration, we gain inspiration to continue our journey with renewed determination, aiming for a brighter and more promising future.

On Saturday, April 15, 2023, the event took place successfully in the third-floor hall of the Student Center at UNY. The gathering was graced by the presence of the advisor, alumni, and crews. It commenced with a vibrant opening by the MC, followed by a series of engaging and thrilling activities. During the event’s commencement, the advisor, president, and I, as the chairperson of the event, extended warm greetings and delivered speeches to all the participants. A session was dedicated to introducing the alumni and committee members, fostering better acquaintance among them. This was followed by enthusiastic participation in an interactive game session.

The event further deepened its intimacy through a focus group discussion (FGD) involving the alumni. Moreover, there was a captivating door prize session featuring attractive rewards, elevating the festive ambiance. The event reached its conclusion with a mesmerizing performance by SAFELITE. Subsequently, everyone came together to break their fast and relish a delightful feast.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to my friends in the PR and HRD departments for their dedicated efforts in making this event a success. I would also like to express my gratitude to the committee members and senior alumni who have attended, participated, and contributed to the liveliness of the event. While it is true that this event is not without its flaws and areas that require improvement, I am hopeful that these evaluations will help enhance future Anjangsana events. Thank you once again, and I look forward to seeing you all at Anjangsana 2024.
