Networking is an annual program from the PR Department of SAFEL. It is a program to improve and preserve the relationship between SAFEL and organizations or institutions around Yogyakarta. This year, SAFEL UNY had the privilege to collaborate with HIMAHARA UGM on March 26th, 2023, with the theme “Intertwined: Collide the Bond and Find What’s Fond”. With this theme, it is pointed out that by carrying out networking, it is hoped that by uniting SAFEL and HIMAHARA, we can find what both parties like, and with this, we can better know our mutual interests.
The agenda itself was attended by all committees and delegates, opened by a welcoming speech from the Head of HIMAHARA UGM and the President of SAFEL UNY. Both speeches in general were about the organization itself and represented how both sides are willingly welcoming to each other. The agenda was followed by a deep explanation from both organizations, which were represented by the presidents of SAFEL UNY and HIMAHARA UGM.
Moving forward, there was an intermission from the committee that provided fun for the participants, that being “Guess the Character” and “Estafet Sarung”. The committee also provided a special performance from our special guest, Safelite. Afterwards the agenda was followed by the gifting of memoriam from SAFEL UNY and HIMAHARA UGM and there were also some volunteers who were generous enough to give their impression on Networking 2023. The agenda was then ended with a photo session with all participants from SAFEL UNY and HIMAHARA UGM.
To sum it all up, after three years of online Networking, SAFEL finally had the privilege to feel the pleasure of offline Networking, and it was a total success. To create a space for the organizations involved to broaden their network and obtain new friends with interesting experiences and unique knowledge. Internally, SAFEL has trained the development of its committee’s skills in managing and planning an event throughout.
Putting aside all of that, I would like to give my warmest thankyou to my Public Relation friends, Kak Stefany, Tsaniya, Alin, Kak Shafa, Romi, Ayya, Yhara, Chalika, Nisa and Selma for making this year’s Networking Successful and for making It possible. We, as the committee of Networking 2023, hope that this year’s Networking has brought a great experience to both sides of SAFEL UNY and HIMAHARA UGM and that both sides shall always share and connect a deep relationship.
