Studi Banding is a program that allows students to visit other universities’ student activities or other organizations that have ties to SAFEL. Studi banding is a SAFEL staff and member-only activity. This program aims to get new information and insights that will be useful for the development of organizations. We usually went away at the end of the year not only to gain new information and insights but also to refresh our minds by visiting cool places and releasing our burdens. This year, Studi Banding was held on November 12, 2022, with the theme “Lucent: Walk Towards the Bright New Day”.

This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic having started to subside, we could visit destinations earlier than the previous year, when we used an online platform, Zoom Cloud Meeting. On this occasion, we have provided several destinations, of which the main destination is Semarang. In accordance with the purpose of Studi Banding, in this occasion we are working together and collaborating with UKM LSB UIN Walisongo on this occasion. We presented to each other the work programs from each department, shared new knowledge, played games, and exchanged memorable symbols or ornaments. Then we ended this session with a group photo.

Move on to the next destination, namely Pagoda Avalokitesvara. There, we learned many new things and cultures from Buddhism. For information’s sake, the locals also call it Pagoda Avalokitesvara. As the name suggests, this place was used to accommodate Buddhists who lived in Semarang and nearby regions. Still, it is also an interesting vacation destination, especially for enjoying photography and exploration. So, of course, we also did not forget to capture the memories of this visit with SAFEL members.

Finally, the next destination is Cimory. Which is a place for sightseeing and playing together to enjoy various interesting spots and meet various cute animals. We also had the opportunity to look for souvenirs made from Cimory products.

SAFEL’s visit to Studi Banding has concluded. We hope that the Studi Banding will form new relationships again next year, and that all of the participants will be able to visit many places and have fun as we expand our relationships with other organizations. -Shafa&Amu
