Hello! Good afternoon everyone! On this special occasion, we will talk about one program held by the Public Relations Department called Anjangsana. However, before we talk further about that, we must know what Anjangsana is. Anjangsana is a program to strengthen the relationship between SAFEL’s members such as the advisor, the staff, and the alumni. This program has benefits to increase teamwork, kinship, and maintain good relations between the fellows.
This year, the Public Relations Department held Anjangsana 2021 in collaboration with the Human Resource Department. This special program was held on Sunday, May 2, 2021, via the Zoom platform. As we all know, the Covid-19 pandemic prevents us from holding any kind of face-to-face event, including Anjangsana 2021. This pandemic situation forced us to make a decision that Anjangsana 2021 would be held through an online platform just like last year. However, the implementation of this event through an online platform doesn’t mean it will reduce the series of the event and the benefits that can be taken. There were a lot of activities that we have done such as the introduction of alumni and staff, sharing sessions, games, and focus group discussion.
Next, let me briefly tell you about the activities at Anjangsana 2021. First, there was an introduction session in which the alumnae and the staff were introducing themselves in front of the participant. This session aims to get to know each other. Second, there was a talk session led by SAFEL’s President of 2021, Nazilla Syifa. On this occasion, the participants were talking to each other and asking about their curiosity regarding SAFEL. Last but not least, we have the games session that is held via quizizz.com. In this session, we have to guess the picture of SAFEL’s activities and other general knowledge. Even though the games have a high difficulty level, it didn’t dampen the participants’ desire to become the winners.
After all the fun activities, we moved to the more serious activity namely focus group discussion. In this activity, the participants moved to the breakout room based on their department (there are HRD, FOLT, CCU-LM, PS, and PR). After that, the session was led by the chairman of their department. They talked about their department in detail such as how the event was held during their period, what they must do to solve certain problems, the participants also asked suggestions and advice for the upcoming events, etc. From this session, all participants (especially SAFEL’s members that still took the office) got more information about their own department.
