National Awakening Day is annually celebrated to commemorate the spirit of national revivalism that reflected by the modern organization, Budi Utomo in 1908. The organization rose under the effect of education. The actors who drove Budi Utomo mostly came from the educated world, such as Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo, Ir. Soekarno, dr. Sutomo, KH. Agus Salim, Ki Hadjar Dewantara, and so on
.
Currently, unexpected condition affects at many things including our education. Even if we are in this condition, we should look up and carry on what they had done for the country. Thus, let’s keep the ‘learning spirit’ in ourselves so we can contribute to the country’s revitalization
