Community visit is one of the SAFELs agendas. Community visit was held to facility the other community/organization who want to make a relation with SAFEL. In that moment, the organization who has visited SAFEL is KSBA (Kelompok Studi Bahasa Inggris) FH UNDIP. KSBA is an English Learning Club in Law Faculty, Diponegoro University.
The Community Visit was held on Saturday, 26 October 2019 in Performance and Art Hall of Languages and Arts Faculty, Yogyakarta State University. This event began at 10.30 a.m. because KSBA arrived in YSU at 10.00 a.m. When KSBA arrived in YSU, we were welcoming them. After that, the main participant of this event (KSBA UNDIP) take a registration and then entered the room.
This event started when MC was welcoming KSBA UNDIP. The MC in this event was Rizqa Maulida Nasution, staff of SAFELs Public Speaking Department. The next agenda was greeting speech from SAFEL and then followed by KSBA UNDIP. Then, the two organization gave an information about their organization. KSBA did the present first and followed by SAFEL. The information that they presented is about their biography organization, structure organization, agendas of their organization, etc. Actually, after one of them did the present there was a QnA agenda, after KSBA UNDIP presented their information, we gave them question, so did SAFEL. After the presentation and QnA agendas, we were going to Group Forum discussion agenda, in this agenda we were dividing into several group. For group who had the same topic would fuse become 1 group. In this discussion the two group could give a question of their topic or out of the topic. For example, in Public Relation circle, we talked about how to have a lot of relation, how to manage the social media, etc. But in the other side we also talked about how to manage the inactive member of our organization. The discussion forum took 30 minutes to do, and we felt that was not enough to talk about our topic deeply. If the discussion wasnt finished, we can contact each other with social media. The next agendas was giving an achievement to each other. After that, MC was giving a closing speech. Then we stand together to take a picture. Finally this event was ending. After than KSBA UNDIP do their next journey in Yogyakarta.
From this event we get a lot of advantage for example, we know a lot information about KSBA UNDIP, we get a problem solving for our problem, and the main advantage we have a new relation. Both organization hope that this relation isnt over after the ending of community visit, we hope this relation will stay longer. So we still contact and help each other. ^^
