Hello everyone.
My name is Adila Evawidayati, and I am the Director of Soft Skills Training 2022. Firstly, let me explain what soft skills training is.
Soft Skills Training is a training activity that aims to train the crews of the Student Activity Forum of Foreign Languages Yogyakarta State University “SAFEL“ to be able to carry out organizational activities well, especially those that focus on bureaucratic administration, creativity, and expertise of each crew member in their field.
Soft Skills Training was held on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 via a Zoom meeting with a total of 64 participants. Soft Skills Training 2022 with the theme “Skills Accelerator: Take Advantages of The Opportunity to Learn without Limits”. It is hoped that soft skills training can be an opportunity as a learning tool for all of us and be useful in our future, both in the academy and in organizations.
The Soft Skills Training event itself went well. It started with the opening remarks by the Master of Ceremony and then remarks from the Head of Soft Skills Training and the President of SAFEL. The first activity carried out was training in bureaucratic administration by the secretary of SAFEL, Ardhya Azka Cahyaningtyas.
Azka explained the flow of proposals, examples of proposal formats for SAFEL and the rectorate, how to ask for approval (signatures), and upload them to the system. Azka also explained the correct formats of accountability reports, so that the participants could understand well and be good secretaries.
The second was bureaucratic training from the Treasurer of SAFEL, Chayyu Zalena Hawie. She explained the correct format for RAB, also mentioned ways to avoid experiencing a deficit, taxation, and how to properly manage the finances. Zalena gave an example of the RAB that entered SAFEL and the rectorate.
The secretaries and treasurers also provide workshops for participants. They gave the wrong proposal and RAB then the participants were asked to revise it. The good thing is that the participants are very active in participating in correcting so that the workshop session is successful and achieves its goals.
The third is presentation training by Dwi Nurul Fajriah. Dwi explained how to make the material and presented it well. He gives tips ranging from choosing a topic, managing presentation points, practicing, dressing well, and communicating with the audience.
The fourth is the announcement of the best assignment. They then presented their PowerPoint, which was assessed by Dwi Nurul. After their presentation, the jury gave them feedback and suggestions for their presentation.
After that, the event was over. Soft Skills Training 2022 was a success. With great presentations, games, and special performances from SAFELITE, everything goes well. Even though it is short, it is hoped that this event will provide many benefits for the participants.
That’s all the activities of the Soft Skills Training event. Thank you, and see you at the soft skills training next year. -Adila
