Saturday morning (7/3), on the second floor of the west wing hall of the Student Center at Yogyakarta State University, there’s an annual program of “SAFEL” to train SAFEL new organizational crews’ soft skills so they can develop their skills for their best devotion.
“Develop Your Skills for The Best Devotion” was brought as the theme of this event to give a spirit to SAFEL’s new organizational crews’ enthusiasm so they can develop their skills for their devotion to SAFEL.
This event was opened by the welcoming speech from the advisor of “SAFEL”, Dr. Anita Triastuti, P.hd, and SAFEL’s president, Dewi Indriyani then continued by the first agenda. The first agenda is the secretary’s bureaucracy. The agenda was presented by SAFEL’s secretary Fuji Damayanti. The next agenda is the treasurer’s bureaucracy. Treasurer’s bureaucracy is presented by SAFEL’s treasurer Irania Arfeminsantya.
When bureaucracy training started, the participant was very enthusiastic. The participant gives a lot of questions to the presenter about what they don’t know about so they can understand more about bureaucracy. When the presenter gives some quiz to the participant, they can answer it well too.
This bureaucracy training is to develop SAFEL’s organizational managers so they know bureaucracy in SAFEL and Yogyakarta State University. With this knowledge of bureaucracy, they can become a secretary or treasurer of any event in SAFEL anytime and anywhere.
After dizziness of bureaucracy training, the agenda was continued by a game from Kahoot!. The game was the crew’s knowledge about SAFEL. The game was very pleasing so the participants of this event were very happy and they can continue to accept more training from the presenter.
The next agenda was CorelDraw training. The CorelDraw training was presented by the head of CCU-LM department Putri Matsya Sabilla. CorelDraw training aims to introduce an application that often used by almost all events in SAFEL to design a logo, pamphlet, and others. With this knowledge, they can make any design of anything to give their best for any event in SAFEL.
After the CorelDraw Training, the presenter is judging the participant’s design results. The design result was very amazing, each participant has their style. But the presenter only chooses 2 best design. the second place best design was going to Tri Rahayuningsih the head of Subdepartement EDS. Her design was very simple but the contents are very attractive. She followed the presenter wholeheartedly. So she deserved to take second place. The first-place design was going to Fadila Nafiri Arif from the FOLT department. Her design was really nice. The content of her pamphlet was really good and easy to be accepted. She deserves to take first place.
The event was closed by giving a present to two best pamphlet designers. The participant was so happy and pleased. Hopefully, this Soft Skills training really can develop their skills for their best devotion to SAFEL. Amin. –Riku
