Soft Skills Training 2025 was held on Sunday, March 23rd at 09.15 A.M at the UNY Student Center on the 2nd floor. “Grow with SAFEL : Flourish Like Sakura in Full Bloom” is a theme from this event that contains a deep philosophy that inspires participants to develop themselves through a gradual approach, full of meaning, and beautiful like cherry blossoms. Cherry blossoms here contain philosophy as a symbol of transformation, beauty in diversity, resilience and flexibility, as well as experience as the core of learning.
This event began with an opening by the Master of Ceremony followed by a warm welcome from the Head of Soft Skills Training, Aprilia, and then Shari Cahya Trimurti as the President of SAFEL, and of course Miss Cinthia Reswari as the Advisor of UKM SAFEL also participated in giving an extraordinary warm welcome. Before starting the Presentation, QnA, and Workshop sessions by the speakers, the event began with a Pretest session where the participants worked on questions according to their initial abilities.
The event continued with Presentation, QnA, and Bureaucracy Workshop delivered by Secretary I SAFEL, Aurell, and Treasurer of SAFEL, Najwa. This agenda goes very well. The participants were very excited to listen and also actively asked about what they wanted to know more about Bureaucracy. So, when the presenter gives a workshop for the group to make a cost budget draft of the event for 20 minutes, they can complete it easily. With this Bureaucracy training, participants are expected to become secretaries or treasurers in various SAFEL work programs well and skillfully.
The next agenda is Presentation, QnA, and People Management and Graphic Design Workshop by Sheryl as Head of HRD Department and Risda as Head of PR Department. In this session, the participants were also very enthusiastic, especially when practicing making a Live Report design by applying people management to each group. Although only given a fairly short time, they can complete and even present the design that they have made beautifully and attractively.
The third agenda is Presentation, QnA, and Foreign Knowledge Workshop and Cross-Cultural Understanding with Trisnita as the Head of the FOLT Department and Shelly as the Head of the CCU-LM Department. This session was no less interesting, even more enthusiastic than the previous presentation. Participants are invited to travel to 6 countries in SAFEL to introduce the uniqueness of the Language and Culture of each country.
The next session is Presentation, QnA, and Leadership and Public Speaking Workshop by Shari as the President of SAFEL and Lidya as the Head of the PS Department. After a very useful material delivery session, the speaker gave a case study that must be completed and presented by each group within 20 minutes. All groups can complete the case study and present it very well and clearly.
After the Presentation, QnA, and Workshop sessions, the event continued with quiz games about general knowledge, culture, guessing song lyrics, guessing pictures, and unique things about several SAFEL countries. In this activity, participants enthusiastically competed for the highest scores and attractive prizes. Not only that, participants are also given a posttest to measure the extent of their understanding of the material that has been presented. After completing, participants are given the opportunity to convey their impressions and messages during the Soft Skills training. Then continued the announcement of The Most Active Participant, namely Ocha, who is considered the most active during the training, so it deserves to be appreciated.
The event was closed by giving awards to the speakers and taking pictures together. Through this event it is expected to provide many benefits for the participants. Thank you to all the committee, presenter, and all participants who participated in this event. Hopefully, we can meet again in Soft skills training in 2026.
